You are responsible for knowing your third-party coverage and for paying any balance of fees in full on any services rendered, or should direct billing not be possible for any reason. Please email rmt.bernie@gmail.com to inquire about direct billing and be ready to provide all necessary information.
No direct billing for SunLife or GreenShield. Where direct billing is not possible, I will provide a receipt that allows you to claim with your insurance provider for massage therapy benefits.

By respecting this policy, you help maintain a healthy environment and community, protect your practitioner from illness and income loss and allow time for those lost appointments to be offered to clients in need. Thank you for your understanding, consideration and cooperation.
Can I claim your service for acupuncture?
No. I am a Registered Massage Therapist providing certified acupuncture as a healing modality. I am not a TCM acupuncturist. I cannot be claimed under the category 'Acupuncture' as a service provider.
Your claim can be made under 'Massage Therapy' only, even if we use acupuncture needles in session.
Where exactly is your clinic?
I am offering services from two locations, Winnipeg & Garson, Manitoba.
In Winnipeg, I am inside the Kremer building at 301 Nassau, unit 103B, on ground level.
There is a seating area directly outside my office. I may be indisposed with another session in treatment, kindly wait until you are greeted. Do not knock. Locked gender neutral washrooms are located beyond the waiting area. I will assist you with entry. Two-hour street parking can be found on nearby Pembina, Warsaw, Jessie, Fleet and Mulvey Ave.
In Garson, this is my private residence, 38 Kingsgate Row.
There are 3 outdoor concrete steps and 8 indoor steps to walk up to the treatment room.
Please park on the street, not the driveway. Arrive 3-5 minutes before your appointment time.
If you have allergies, know we have 4 cats but they are not allowed in the treatment room.
I use natural laundry detergent, green household cleaners & pure essential oils only in my practice.
Please avoid wearing scents to your treatment. Thank you!
How do I know which treatment to book?
Have a look at my Services page to learn more about each treatment. I encourage trying different services as you might discover healing benefits you have never experienced before!
Treatment times of 45 mins & 120 mins are available upon request only. I will place you in the schedule to conserve & balance my time & energy as a dedicated therapist providing high quality massage therapy and bodywork treatments to my dedicated patrons. Thank you for interest & understanding! I look forward to meeting and treating you soon!
What is cupping therapy?
Massage Cupping is the use of plastic cups and a hand-held vacuum pump to create a negative pressure on the skin’s surface. This separates the layers of tissue, drawing in nutrient-rich blood to provide healing to the targeted tissue.
What is the discoloration that occurs with some of the treatments?
The marks that are commonly left from Massage Cupping are an indication of the release of stagnation from the treatment area. A cupping mark is thought to be caused by the release of dead static blood, lymph, cellular debris, pathogens and toxins to the surface of the skin. Cupping marks are not painful and can range in intensity from no mark at all to a dark purple. Marks usually last from 1-8 days but can remain for approximately 2 weeks.
